Health Insurance Company

It's always good to have some type of Health Insurance coverage. If not, you will be forced to pay for all your doctors appointments out of your own pocket. Usually these fee's are due up front, unless prior arrangements have been made. Doctor fee's can be very expensive. If you don't like paying out of your own pocket, maybe it's time to look for a health insurance company.

First I would start out by asking you family and friends for any recommendations. If you can't get anyone to recommend anything, I would suggest looking in the yellow pages of your local telephone book. Before you call, make sure you write down a list of questions to ask the representative who answer the phone. While your on the phone, make sure write down all the answers. If you have to make the representative repeat any questions you didn't understand, or didn't hear. This will help you later make a better decision on which health insurance company to choose from.

When choosing health insurance, ask yourself these questions. What kind of budget do I have, are prescription drugs covered, what doctors are important to me, what kind of locations and hours are important to make? Next you should also be thinking about how much will you be paying, what kind of care will be covered, and what are my choices of doctors. If you can't decide on which health insurance company to use, or none are within your budget. Perhaps you should ask you employer offers any kind of health insurance benefits. It depends on what plan they offer, but sometimes you can get health insurance through your employer really cheap.

Another place to consider is your local health department. If you qualify, they offer services for a small fee. I have done this in the past and have been very happy with their services.
