Personally I think everyone should have life insurance. If you don't have any coverage, you should contact your nearest life insurance company. How much will you pay, it all depends on many different factors, such as if you smoke, your age, and your family health history. If you do decide to get coverage, the life insurance company may require you to take a medial examination. This will help them determine on what price they should charge you.

It's always best to get coverage while you are young and healthy. Monthly rates are often affordable when you are younger. Sometimes employers offer life insurance to their employees. This may be something for you to check on. If your lucky enough, you may qualify. Word of advice, if you get life insurance, please keep your coverage. The reason why I am saying this, is the fact that a friend of mine had coverage when she was healthy and younger. One day she just decided she didn't want to keep her coverage and just cancelled her policy. The life insurance representative warned her not to do it, but she was stubborn and did it anyway. Now she has absolutely no coverage. If she wanted to get coverage now, it would cost her anywhere from $200 to $300 a month. Now if something happens, her family will be financially responsible for the funeral.

You can also look in your local phone book yellow pages, or you can do a search over the internet. Before you call, make sure you write down all your questions. When you are comparing quotes, make sure your comparing the same type of quotes. Which ever policy you decide to get, please remember to be responsible and keep your policy, because it's the responsible thing to do.
